We were replacing a kitchen that we had supplied approx 20 years ago! There was a lot of preparation work to do from floor to ceiling including electrics.
The clients builder did all this in readiness for us prior to installing the kitchen. The client wanted to keep the Aga so they arranged for this to be painted in the same colour as the new kitchen. An important aspect about this kitchen was that the Aga wasn’t moving so we had to have bespoke kitchen units made, and the client wanted Neff built in appliances throughout but wanted to keep the American style fridge/freezer. Granite worktops were made to measure templates and fitted around the Aga and the Belfast sink. At the far end of the room the client wanted bespoke tall larder units built to cover up the electric fuse box which we did while allowing access if needed in the future for an electrician. The American fridge/freezer had pull out larder units either side and a bridging unit above giving a build in feel to the entire area. The curved door on the end of the hob run allows easy access to the kitchen, with the island adding additional work surface and storage to the kitchen. The clients builder fitted the flooring and we tiled all the walls.
