In this Kitchen the Client wanted the an open clear feel to the Kitchen, Utility and Larder Area.
The doors connecting each room were removed and archways put in so that the large format Porcelain floor tiles, could be continuous to allow the rooms to flow together. The layout of the kitchen was altered to allow the customers choices on appliances etc to be accommodated. The client wanted the design to flow so curved doors were used on the entrance to the kitchen, and a breakfast area that didn’t intrude into the room, was placed against the wall. Granite was used throughout with an up-stand which removed the need for tiling, to give the client the clear uncompromising space that they requested. The Granite was shaped around the curved doors complimenting the smooth flowing lines.
